Solgar® Saw Palmetto Berry contains saw palm berry extract and powder.
Sawmill is a fan-like palm native to the West Indies and the southeast coast of the United States because it grows mainly in warm climates. The saw palm has deep purple berries. The extract from saw palm berries has been used for centuries in traditional and alternative medicine because its ingredients contain fatty acids, plant sterols and flavonoids. Saw palm is rich in phytochemicals and has traditionally been used to support the well-being of the prostate and urinary tract.
