Solgar® Quercetin Complex contains the bioflavonoid quercetin, the stomach-friendly vitamin Ester C® and bromelain.
Quercetin is a citrus bioflavonoid that works synergistically with vitamin C. Bioflavonoids occur naturally in fruits, vegetables and herbs and are a class of potent phytochemicals. They help maximize the benefits of vitamin C by preventing the breakdown of this immune-boosting vitamin in the body.
The composition of Quercetin Complex is patented and contains natural plant bioflavonoids, which together with vitamin C are powerful antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables. The product also contains stomach-friendly, acid-neutral vitamin C, Ester-C®, which is also suitable for sensitive stomachs. Ester-C® is absorbed more efficiently and remains available to the immune system for longer and in higher doses. Ester-C® stays available to your body for up to 24 hours, giving your body longer-term support.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that has many important functions in the body, from supporting the immune defense and energy metabolism to building collagen in the skin, bones, and teeth. Recommended dosage: 2 capsules daily with meals.
