Manganese is an essential trace element for our body. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and normal energy metabolism. Manganese is also an important trace element for the skeletal system. It contributes both to the maintenance of normal skeletal function and to the normal formation of connective tissue.
Mn1 MANGAAN + PHYTASE contains 8 mg of a highly absorbable form of manganese, manganese bisglycinate, in one plant-based capsule.

The preparation also contains phytase enzyme 50 units (FTU) in one capsule. Phytase enzyme breaks down phytic acid contained in plant products. Phytic acid is a phosphorus compound that is particularly abundant in cereals, legumes, nuts and seeds.
Phytic acid helps e.g. seeds or grains to chelate, i.e. store minerals such as iron, selenium and calcium in an unreleased form until they are released when the seed germinates. Soaking, germination and fermentation are therefore popular ways of reducing phytic acid levels. The phytase enzyme therefore also works in the same way.
The phytase enzyme in Mn1 MANGAAN + PHYTASE capsules is produced naturally by fermentation.
