Solgar® Milk Thistle contains Silybum marianum seed powder and seed extract.
Milk thistle native to the Mediterranean and belongs to the same species family as sunflower and daisy. It gets its name from the white milk liquid that drains from the leaves when they are crushed. Milk Thistle contains flavonoids, collectively referred to as silymarins.
Recommended dosage: 1 capsule daily with a meal.
Active ingredients (1 capsule):
Milk thistle seed powder (Silybum marianum). 350 mg
Seed extract of Milk thistle 100 mg
Other ingredients: Shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), filler (hydroxypropylcellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids).
