High quality and strong vitamin A to support resistance and mucous membranes.

Solgar® Vitamin A 5000 IU contains a strong dose of fat-soluble vitamin A in the form of retinyl palmitate, which is a more gentle form of retinol and does not irritate the gastric mucosa. The so-called dry capsule is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in two forms; retinol and beta-carotene. Retinol is found naturally in foods of animal origin, and beta-carotene is obtained from colorful fruits and vegetables. Many body systems depend on adequate intake of vitamin A. It is needed for skin and mucous membrane regeneration and for the retina of the eye to support vision. Getting enough vitamin A is also important for the normal functioning of iron metabolism and immunity.
