Vegan vitamin E 268 mg (vege) contains natural d-alpha-tocopherol as well as other tocopherols that work in synergy with each other. D-alpha-tocopherol is the best absorbed and 100% active form of vitamin E. The product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Solgar® Natural Source Vitamin E 268 mg (400 IU) (vege) contains natural Vitamins E in a herbal softgel capsule to help protect body cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells in the body and are associated with premature aging. Free radicals are formed, for example, when our bodies convert the food they eat into energy or when we are exposed to air pollution and the sun’s ultraviolet light.
The product contains natural vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol), which is shown to be 1.3 times more bioavailable than synthetic forms **.
Fat-soluble vitamin E is found naturally in nuts, nut oils, olive oil, green leafy vegetables and avocados. It is an essential nutrient and antioxidant. In addition, the body needs vitamin E to support the immune system. A healthy and balanced diet ideally contains adequate amounts of vitamin E, but unfortunately most people’s diets do not reach this level.
All Solgar® products have been manufactured in accordance with Solgar's Gold Standard standards since 1947. Solgar uses only natural ingredients in its supplements.
Our strict quality control system tests the products at every stage from the raw material to the finished product. All raw materials entering our production facility are subjected to rigorous testing to ensure that they are of the highest possible quality.
