Milk Thistle is a one- or two-year-old mycorrhizal plant. The plant is native to the Mediterranean region and is cultivated in many places in Europe. St. John's wort has been used as a herb for thousands of years.
The seeds of Milk Thistle contain 4-6% silymarin, which consists of three flavonolignans; silybin, silycristine and silydianine.
The antioxidant and liver protective effect of silymarin has been extensively studied in recent years. Silymarin stimulates RNA polymerase and thus promotes protein synthesis in ribosomes. This leads to a better ability of the liver to regenerate. Silymarin is 10 times more potent antioxidant than vitamin E.
Milk Thistle has a long history as an herbal plant and has been studied extensively scientifically. That is why the Finnish Association of Health Product Traders chose it as the herbal plant of 2017.
Feel Vivid Milk Thistle extract powder is double-extracted in ethanol and hot water, making the extract as effective and well-absorbed as possible. The extract powder is very strong, so it should only be used in very small amounts at a time. One bag is sufficient for about 6 months when dosed according to the instructions.
Manual: Dosage 1/8 teaspoon twice a day. Stir in a small amount of water.
